Marisa Duong

Hi there! I am a research scientist with a passion in data analytics, leveraging my project management and research skills from a 3+ years experience in the medtech/biotech industry. My unwavering desire to learn, to grow, and to contribute innovative solutions to medical research has been a consistent driving force in strengthening my scientific education and completing my PhD degree while constantly strive to derive insights from the massive datasets through laboratory work.

On top of my full-time work as a research scientist, I have earned a certificate in the Data Analytics Program from the University of Western Australia, and recently completed the MIT's Data science and Machine learning program to advance my data skills. My experience includes using proteomics-based data collection to identify and validate biomarkers to predict various diseases. I am keen to use predictive modeling and developing practical data-based solutions.

I also have extensive tutoring and scientific demonstration experiences, having worked with students of diverse backgrounds, from primary school students to first-year medical postgraduate students.

I have excellent work ethics and always strive for excellence in all my life endeavours.
